Who is Your Paul?

We have all been here at some point in our lives. I wish I looked as good as her or him. I wish I had money like her or him. I wish I had talent like her or him. I wish I had a job like her or him. I wish things came easy like her or him.

Comparison to anyone can bring us down as we ultimately feel we will never amount to being like a certain individual we have set our sights on. To be honest it can ultimately lead us to depression if we continue to want to be someone we are not. We have all been given the ability to chose a path with the abilities that God has given us.

Of course if you are in your 30’s working a 9 to 5 still trying to be Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, or Tiger Woods you might want to buy a Play Station for those dreams to come true. In all seriousness, I think we forget that we have the ability to do anything we want to certain limits based on where you are in life.

It is never to late to start a business, take that dream vacation, move to that spot you have always dreamed of, or settle down to start a family or create a bigger one. I honestly believe a lot of us are scared to leap for the stars.

You can get fit and lose weigh at anytime. All you have to do is stop the madness of eating like your 15 again, and get on a diet and workout plan. You could make as much money as you want. You have to find that passion and turn into a business that is extremely profitable. You can achieve any talent that you wish. You have to find time in your busy day to practice and achieve that talent. With all these scenarios you could do it alone, but most of the time if you find a coach, business mentor, and someone to teach your desired talent it happens a lot faster.

We have to get out of the tunnel vision mindset in our lives. We have to be vulnerable and ask for help with our wants and desires. Remember God wants us to enjoy His creation to the full extent. He doesn’t set limitations on us as we do that ourselves. What is your passion? Are you fulfilling your passion in the marketplace? Are you setting low standards for yourself because every thing seems difficult? We ultimately set the pace for our lives. We have free will and the choices we make every day either take us towards that passion or further away?

Who is someone that you can lean on to help navigate you towards your North Star in life? After you find that person. Come up with a detailed plan through prayer to reach your North Star. When you are fulfilling your passion while earning a living that is when you start to really experience the JOY that God intended you to experience! It’s not a going to be easy! You might struggle, but in the end you will be thankful for the bumps and bruises along the way!

“When Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am. No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭16:10-11‬ ‭
